The platform helps freelancers connect with each other, grow through a symbolic animal companion system, track real progress, share their work, receive feedback, and make their journey visible.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when users use the website, app, or services.
As a small-scale initiative with limited operational resources, this policy is designed to clearly define responsibilities and limit liability to the maximum extent permitted under Indian law.

We collect only the minimum information necessary to operate and improve the platform, following the principle of data minimisation under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

- Account details (name, email, phone, Google/LinkedIn login)
- Profile information (skills, experience level, bio)
- Animal companion selection
- Growth-related inputs, posts, work samples, milestones, and reflections on your Profile & Proof Timeline
- Challenge participation and activity logs
- Communications with our AI Chatbot or support team
Payment information is collected only when you make purchases and is processed securely through third-party payment gateways such as Razorpay, Bharat UPI, and other RBI-regulated payment service providers. We do not store your full card details, UPI IDs, or bank account information on our servers.
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
We automatically collect:
- Device and browser information
- Usage data and growth/activity logs
- IP address and approximate location (only for security and fraud prevention)
We also use cookies and similar technologies.
2.3 Information from Third Parties
We may receive:
- Basic profile data from Google or LinkedIn (with your permission)
- Payment confirmations from our payment processors
Note: Public profiles and proof timelines are visible to other users by design.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your personal information only for the following purposes:
- Creating and managing accounts and animal companions
- Enabling growth tracking and progress features
- Supporting community features such as posting work and receiving feedback
- Providing AI-powered insights and chatbot responses
- Processing optional payments for virtual goods or passes

We do not sell your personal data.

We share your information only in limited cases:
- With other users, but only information you have chosen to make public (profile and proof timeline content)

We do not share your private messages, detailed activity data, or payment information with other users.
5. Data Security
We implement reasonable security measures, including encryption where appropriate, access controls, and monitoring, in line with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
However, no system is entirely secure. It is your responsibility to protect your login credentials. We shall not be held liable for any unauthorised access resulting from your failure to secure your account or for any content you choose to share publicly.
6. Your Rights and Choices
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to access, correct, and request deletion of your personal data. You can exercise these rights through your account settings or by contacting us.
Please note that public content may remain visible even after deletion requests due to the nature of the platform and copies made by other users. We may retain certain data where required by law or for safety and fraud prevention purposes.
Withdrawal of Consent: Where we process your personal data based on your consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time by updating your account settings or contacting us. Withdrawal of consent will not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to such withdrawal. Upon withdrawal of consent, we may cease providing certain services or features that require such personal data for their operation. We may retain and continue processing certain information where required or permitted by applicable law, including for legal compliance, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, or security purposes.

Crystal X Revolutions may provide AI-generated insights, suggestions, feedback, recommendations, growth analysis, content ideas, or responses through various features of the platform. Such content is generated automatically using artificial intelligence systems and may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, biased, or unsuitable for a user's specific circumstances.
AI-generated content is provided solely for informational, educational and productivity purposes. Users are encouraged to independently evaluate and verify any information, recommendations or conclusions before relying upon them. AI outputs should not be considered legal, financial, medical, employment, business, tax, investment or other professional advice.
While Crystal X Revolutions strives to provide useful and relevant AI-powered features, we do not represent, warrant or guarantee the accuracy, reliability, completeness, availability, or suitability of any AI-generated output. Users remain solely responsible for their decisions, actions and reliance on such content.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Crystal X Revolutions shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive losses, damages, costs, claims, or liabilities arising from or related to the use of, reliance upon, or inability to use AI-generated content or recommendations.

9. Children's Privacy
Crystal X Revolutions is not directed at children under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If we become aware that data from a child under 18 has been collected without proper guardian consent, we will take steps to delete it.

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or maintain platform safety. When you delete your account, we will delete or anonymise your personal data within a reasonable time, except where retention is required by law.

13. Limitation of Liability & Platform Role
Crystal X Revolutions is a small-scale initiative focused on freelancer growth and community. It is not a job marketplace, client-acquisition service, or employment platform. We do not promise, offer, or guarantee that you will receive clients or work through this platform.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, including under the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, Crystal X Revolutions provides the platform on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties.
We shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform, user-generated content, or interactions between users.
While clients may discover freelancers through public profiles, any interaction, agreement, payment, or collaboration between a freelancer and a client (or between any users) is entirely at their own risk. We are not liable for any issues arising from such interactions, including non-payment, disputes, fake profiles, scams, misrepresentation, or unmet expectations.
You are solely responsible for verifying anyone you choose to work with and for protecting yourself in any external agreements.
This limitation of liability is fundamental to our ability to offer the service as a small-scale project.
